The 2020/21 season marked a pivotal transition for the National Ballet as they embarked on the search for a new Artistic Director. This moment presented an opportunity to step outside of the company's traditional branding, introducing a vibrant and compelling new visual identity for the season. Through a bold colour palette, dynamic imagery, and a strategic shift from Helvetica Regular to Helvetica Condensed, we developed a brand that honoured the company's legacy while engaging a younger audience, striking a balance between familiarity for loyal patrons and freshness for new ones.
